Description

The Grands Goulets farm raises goats and cows. Vercodon cheese, uncooked pressed tomme, and blue goat cheese are the flagship products. Direct sales are available at the farm or at the market in La Chapelle en Vercors.

The Grands Goulets farm raises goats and cows in keeping with the agricultural traditions of the Vercors region. Sylvie and Yves Laffont took over the family farm in 2003, adding a goat business to their Blonde d'Aquitaine cow breeding program. The goats, Alpine Chamois and Saanen breeds, graze freely from spring to autumn.

The farm produces various farmhouse cheeses, including "Vercodons" with various maturations. In 2021, their son, Baptiste, joined the farm, launching the production of a blue goat cheese, reflecting the family's innovation. The farm cultivates 50 hectares of meadows and cereals for hay and livestock feed.

The cheese dairy, built in 2014, transforms milk into farmhouse cheeses every day, harnessing the full potential of the Vercors region of Drôme. This farm is a prime destination for discovering the richness of the Vercors region through authentic and delicious products.
