Nature outings & activities

The excursions offered by EnQuête de Nature allow you to discover wildlife and its natural environment, whatever the season, from a naturalist's perspective. Each excursion offers the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the rich and wild nature of the Vercors.

Proposed themes

Each educational intervention includes a variety of themes, often related to the species being monitored. These take place through discussions, tracking, and observations, supported by adapted and varied educational tools, and are punctuated by different themes:

1- ​Exit ''WOLF'':
Let's explore this fascinating yet secretive animal as we explore its territory. Let's shed light on its true nature through the lens of a conflict between kindness and mistrust.
Period: all year round

2- Exit ''DEER BELL''
In autumn, a particular sound fills the forest: the deer are in rut. After a look at the biology and behavior of this animal, let's take a walk in its natural environment to listen to the king of the forest (and perhaps observe him!).
Period: from September to October

3- “TRACES & CLUES” output
A walk in search of signs of wildlife. The program includes: terrain reading, track identification, and even ground-based footprint study.
Period: all year round

4- Exit “WILDLIFE”
This is the most popular outing. Ideal for young and old alike who want to discover the natural habitat of the region's main wild animals through discussions, observation, and field reading.
Period: from May to September

5- Exit “RAPTORS”
Of all sizes and shapes, they all share a majestic appearance that characterizes them. Between identifying and sharing their biology, let's observe the masters of the sky in the striking landscapes of the Vercors.
Period: from May to August

6- Exit “NOCTURNAL RAPTORS”
Let's explore these mysterious birds that fascinate and impress us. Often invisible and silent, we'll immerse ourselves in the world of these ghostly creatures during a nighttime stroll.
Period: from October to April

7- Exit “FORET”
As the main link in an ecosystem, the forest is home to exceptional diversity and ensures a healthy and essential balance. During this walk, let's awaken our senses in the vast ancient forests of the Vercors.
Period: from May to November

Of course, themes can be adapted to suit the wishes and curiosity of the participants. It is possible to organize outings for groups as well as individuals.
