Take the road towards Vassieux to reach the intersection indicating the hamlet of Font d'Urle. Continue towards Vassieux to reach, after 50m, a clearly visible trailhead on the right.

Follow the track which runs perpendicular to the road and follow the markings.

Leave the track at a hairpin bend and follow the narrow path into the hollow of the turn, which climbs towards the Gagères plateau. On the plateau, carefully follow the markings on the wooden posts. Reach the edge of the forest and continue to Le Pot de la Croix ( 1544m altitude).

Begin the descent by following the markings along the forest before heading deeper into it. A little further down, join a groomed trail.

Continue downhill to the Prairie de la Chau (alt. 1325m).

Turn left and go back up following the markings, still on the groomed slopes to find point no. 2 and return to the car park by the route taken on the way out.
