Les Gorges de la Bourne à Pont en Royans

Description

Bob ten Hoope was a Dutch painter who lived in Royans from 1954 until his death in 2014. From landscapes of the Vercors to sketched portraits, this permanent exhibition showcases a rich body of work rooted in the region.

Landscapes of the Vercors, scenes of life and cafe in the village of Pont-en-Royans or nudes evolving in a shimmering setting are the themes that the artist particularly liked.

This presentation includes works from the new donation from the Stichting Vrienden van Bob ten Hoope foundation in Saint-Marcellin Vercors Isère Communauté, as well as loans from private collectors.

From April 2026, this permanent space will host a new rotation of new works presented to the public until November 2027. Season launch on Wednesday, April 22, starting at 18 p.m.
