Flint knapping demonstration

How was flint cut in prehistory? What was it for? Was it easy?
A demonstration completes the visit to the museum with the presentation of the ancestral gestures of Neolithic flint knappers.

Located in the Vercors Regional Natural Park, the museum is located in a flint knapping workshop abandoned 4500 years ago by artisan knappers and is exceptionally well preserved.

Dexterity, technicality, know-how... our ancestors produced blades of exceptional quality!

The site is classified as a Historic Monument.
