Description

Accompanied by a guide, explore the first part of the Memorial in the footsteps of the Vercors resistance fighters.

Invaded by an enemy country, deprived of all freedom, angered by the injustice and horror of political decisions, revolted by the obligation to work for the enemy, hunted down, men and women joined the Resistance during the Second World War. There is not a village, a forest, a clearing, or a mountain in the Vercors that was not the scene of battles or acts of resistance.

Course of the visit: if time permits, the facilitator shares a moment with the visitors outside in order to introduce the events of the Vercors and the link with the landscape so characteristic of this massif. After a few words about the architecture of the building, the visit continues inside the Memorial (1 hour). The last part of the visit is done independently with a headset and an audio guide (1 hour).

Allow around 2 hours in total.
