Seasons Trail 2026 "Vercors, land of adventure and adventurers"

Embark on a journey to the heart of the great outdoors! Across a 2km open-air gallery, 5 adventurers, passionate about the Vercors region and the Far North, share 25 large-format photographs and their audio stories. An immersive experience blending nature, adventure, and wonder.

Since its creation, the Vercors Nature Base has had the mission of enabling as many people as possible to discover nature in order to better understand and protect it. Because we best protect what amazes us, this year it invites the public to meet five adventurers passionate about two territories dear to their hearts: the Vercors and the vast open spaces of the North.

Through their photographs and audio testimonies, these explorers share their discoveries, their emotions, and their perspective on the beauty of our planet, but also on its fragility. They all bear witness to the need to preserve these exceptional environments for future generations.
From July 1st to September 30th, 2026, visitors are invited to explore the 2 km open-air gallery of the Sentier des Saisons (Seasonal Trail). The trail features 25 large-format photographs accompanied by immersive audio narratives, for an experience blending discovery, emotion, and awareness.

Anne-Lise Vacher
Photographer, sailor and artist, she explores the polar regions aboard her sailboat *La V'limeuse*. Her images of icebergs, icy seas and arctic light bear witness to the striking beauty and fragility of the icy worlds.

The Lamberton-Glaciaunotes family
Passionate about polar regions, they use their skills in glacial speleology to help scientists study glacier evolution. Their work contributes to a better understanding of these ice giants, sentinels of climate change.

Arnaud Fratinger
Musher and lover of Scandinavian countries, he shares his special relationship with sled dogs and his experience of the great Nordic spaces, where man learns to live in harmony with the elements.

Rainer Hoh
An adventurer and naturalist, he has spent many years exploring the Yukon basin by canoe, skis, raft, and dogsled. His expeditions reveal the richness of the wild ecosystems and the place of humans in these preserved territories.

Patrick Marcel
A geologist, hiker, and filmmaker, he guides visitors on a journey to discover volcanoes and landscapes shaped by the Earth's forces. His perspective reveals the fascinating geological history of our planet. Equipped with bone conduction headphones, visitors experience a unique blend of photography, immersive sound, and exploration of exceptional territories. A voyage between the Vercors mountains and the vast open spaces of the North, designed to inspire wonder, understanding, and action to protect life.
