Come and discover the professions of forest management and exploitation through the voices of those who practice it daily during a walk in the forest.

“Experience my life as a lumberjack” is an original, free event that invites the general public to discover forest management and exploitation through the voices of those who practice them on a daily basis.

Through this outdoor activity, the aim is to introduce participants to the different forestry professions, but also to highlight the wood production activities present in the Vercors.

Loggers, haulers, and foresters will share their work environment and their passion for the forest, explaining their professions and new forest management methods to address the challenges of the forest.

For the public, it's an opportunity to visit a real forestry site, to witness a felling demonstration, and to exchange ideas with these enthusiasts about the specifics of their profession and their vision of the
