Library Festival

Join us on Saturday, October 3rd for the grand celebration of your media libraries in Saint-Jean-en-Royans!
Géraldine Alibeu, children's author and illustrator, will be the guest of honor at this celebration.
The program includes: animated readings, workshops, games and a show.

10:30 am: Parent-child workshop on the theme of "Landscape" led by Géraldine Alibeu. For ages 5 and up. Reservations required.
Starting from the discovery of the albums The Other Side of the Mountain and Kini, the World Embraced, we evoke exploration and seek to create an illustration that invites one to embark on a journey through a landscape, made of different planes, constructed in cutouts.

From 14pm to 16:30pm: Board games and snacks

17:30 pm: Illustrated reading of "On the Other Side of the Mountain" with Géraldine Alibeu
Two young sisters are preparing to spend a week in the mountains, backpacking from cabin to refuge, completely self-sufficient for the first time. What motivates them? The mysterious drawings of their aunt Jeannette, the exploration of this previously distant panorama, and then the breaks, the encounters, and the adventure.
