Heritage of Photography and Heritage in Peril

During the European Heritage Days, L'artsolite invites you to (re)discover its industrial heritage linked to weaving.
And this year the national themes "Heritage of photography" and "Heritage in peril: revive, resist, reimagine" speak to us in particular!

European Heritage Days 2026 at L'artsolite! Guided tours, exhibition and children's activities
You’ll find here:
• Guided tours every day to discover the architecture of the site and its rehabilitation, its turbine and the St Jean canals and their role in local industry.
Tours at 10:30am, 14:30pm and 16:30pm (duration approximately 1 hour, 25 participants max, suitable for teenagers/adults)

• a revival of Fabian Da Costa's photographic exhibition "Des hommes et des Sheds" (presented at L'artsolite in 2023) and the screening of his eponymous film: a collection which brings together and retraces the human adventure of the artisans who worked on the rehabilitation of the site, in the style of so-called "humanist" photography.

• "Weaving" and "pop-up" workshops for younger children, to be carried out independently or accompanied by an adult.
