Founded in 2012 by Laurence Frey, Les Artichauts brings together more than twenty female singers from the Romans region. Their repertoire is built on discoveries and desires, embracing a wide musical spectrum like a choir of curiosities that one delights in exploring.

An hour of a cappella bathing is recommended for all ears!

APPOGGIATURE: his Little Choir

The "Petit chœur d'Appo" offers an a cappella program, ranging from Renaissance composers to those of today: Thomas Tallis, Alessandro Scarlatti, but also Zoltan Kodaly, Aaron Copland, Morten Lauridsen, Mark Sirett and others will come to make this magical place of Léoncel vibrate.

Composed of 17 amateur singers from the region, this outstanding choir was founded at the beginning of this year. For its inaugural performance, its conductor envisioned a varied yet profound program, taking audiences on a journey through time and space. All the pieces are characterized by their rich compositional style.

Thus, fluid sequences will carry the listener away in their rich, colorful and sensual harmonies, and these flights will catch their breath with other moments of simple, intense and rhythmic jubilation.
