Organizing with complete peace of mind
The mobility map produced by the Vercors Regional Natural Park allows you to locate yourself within the mountain range and easily plan your journeys in the Drôme Vercors. The TAD
Transport on demand
This is a service of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region open to the entire population for a journey connecting with the regional road and rail networks upon presentation of the transport ticket justifying the connecting journey.
Intended for:
- La Chapelle-en-Vercors
- Vassieux-en-Vercors
- Saint-Agnan-en-Vercors
- Saint-Martin en Vercors
- Saint-Julien-en-Vercors
Monday to Saturday from 9am to 19pm (except public holidays)
Booking/cancellation by 17pm the day before (16pm on Friday for bookings on Saturday and Monday) at 04 8000 7000 (excluding Sundays and public holidays)

Are you experiencing difficulties getting around?
Request on-demand transport; it's there to assist you with your daily journeys. With this service, travel with peace of mind throughout the Royans and Vercors regions and all the way to the Saint-Hilaire-Saint Nazaire train station.
How does it work ?
– Book your journey at least 48 hours in advance by calling 04 75 47 76 55
– Join the La Paz Social Centre for €5 per year (including 2 free tickets)
– Each transport is then charged at €2 per loop
– Not available on weekends
Regular and accessible routes
Three loops are offered each week, with a round trip in one day:
– Saint-Nazaire-en-Royans loop
– Sainte-Eulalie-en-Royans Loop
– Saint-Martin-le-Colonel Loop
– Vercors Loop (only on request)
A local and community-based initiative
Transport services put in place by the Part'Âge Collective, supported by the Bouge Tranquille Collective and managed by the La Paz Social Centre.
Come by bus
Bus routes and school transport
Take advantage of the intercity bus line with 4 round trips per day in Royans and 4 round trips per week between Royans and Vercors.
School transport for middle school students is now open to all depending on availability, with priority given to students.
How much does it cost ?
Travel from €2,30 per adult per journey, without subscription or discount.

There is no train or bus line from Die station, but don't worry! There is a better option: the Demand-Responsive Transport (DRT) service.

A custom in Royans-Vercors
In Royans-Vercors, hitchhiking is a common practice, whether for residents' daily commutes or for visitors looking to reach the start of their itineraries. It's a way of getting around that's part of everyday life in the region.
However, remember that one overriding rule applies: you always have the right to say no! If you're not comfortable, don't hesitate to decline an offer, perhaps by saying you're on a call. Listen to your instincts; safety comes first!
For more stress-free travel, you can also sign up for RézoPouce, the "Blablacar" for hitchhikers, to be more relaxed when traveling with your thumb in the air.

Getting around in the Vercors
Electric car or minibus rental via car sharing
Departing from La Chapelle en Vercors or Saint Martin en Vercors
Electric Zoe rental : €32 to €37 (full day) – €22 to €25 (half day)
Minibus : the first hundred kilometers are €0.60 per kilometer, then €0,40 for subsequent kilometers.
Rental with a minimum of €36 for half a day and €60 for a full day.

Take advantage of services dedicated to cycling: bike rental, specialist shop and repair workshop to maintain or repair your bike.
The Royans Vercors Community of Municipalities rents out its premises on an ad hoc basis to associations and businesses; for more information, please call 04 75 47 79 42.
In Saint-Jean-en-Royans:

Out-of-school-hours
Shuttle service for children and teenagers from the villages of Southern Vercors to transport them:
– At the House of Adventure for after-school activities on Wednesdays and leisure activities every day during school holidays.
– To weekly extracurricular activities throughout the week, depending on availability.
– At the youth center and at the UNSS in the multipurpose hall of La Chapelle-en-Vercors on Wednesdays.
