From the Tourist Office to St Jean en Royans (alt. 252m) climb behind the church, pass the cemetery. A path leads to the Case (alt. 250m).

Turn right onto a single track through the undergrowth. Follow a plantation to reach Abyss (alt. 255m).

Go up to the left, cross a road. Further on, take a sometimes chaotic path to the Low Massières (alt. 282m).

Continue straight on a path going up into the forest to reach a hairpin bend Sous-Frochet (alt. 365m).

Further on, take the path on the left going down to Chartreux Bridge (alt. 261m) and go back up to The Arboretum (alt. 314m).

Continue to arrive at a fun path and follow a sometimes steep climb to the Jump (alt. 460m).

Turn left and take the GR9 on a path which becomes a trail to reach Torpedo (alt. 298m).

Take a right to go down to The White Waterfall (alt. 202m) or the variant avoiding the ford and joining the Tramway track (alt. 230m).

Continue on the track until the Tracols Path (alt. 252m).

Go up to the left on a sometimes technical path, pass to The Brun House (alt. 319m) to join The Gachetières (alt. 267m).

Turn left and join the D216. Follow it to the left then take the first right to cross the Cholet footbridge.

Go back up to reach the D54 and turn immediately right. At the second bend, turn slightly right to find the start of a path. Continue straight ahead to find St Jean en Royans. Return to the starting point.
