From St-Julien-en-Vercors (alt. 913m) , turn left at the cemetery and follow the path to La Martelière (alt. 920m).

Continue straight ahead, pass through cow pastures and enter the forest to reach the Devil's Gate (alt. 918m).

Continue along the path. At the track, turn left to reach Ponson (alt. 897m).

Turn right, pass Le Devet (alt. 885m) and continue left along the path to Serre Bouchet (alt. 880m).

Turn right, then follow a sometimes technical and steep climb through the middle of a forest to reach Les Combettes (alt. 1022m).

Take the track that goes uphill. Continue straight ahead (viewpoint) before reaching Lili's Hut (alt. 1145m).

Turn left. Follow a path winding through the Allier woods to Micoulas (alt. 1150m).

Turn left. Further on, a path to the right leads to a track. Descend to Dorgne (alt. 1148m).

Take the left-hand technical climb. Follow the markings through the valley to descend back to Cendron (alt. 1016m).

Follow the path opposite which leads into the forest. Pass Les Morands (alt. 995m) and turn left to reach Le Briac (alt. 1005m).

Continue straight ahead up a sustained climb. Higher up on the right, a path through the undergrowth descends to Les Domarières (alt. 919m).

Take the road on the left passing through Les Alberts (alt. 885) . Further on, on the left, a path leads to Les Barons (alt. 895m).

Turn right and go back up the road. Return to the starting point.
