Description

Starting from the Lac de la Balme Balme-de-Sillingy car park, La Belle Via (V62) joins Sillingy, Chaumont and then Epagny via a network of small roads and mixed pedestrian and bicycle paths before entering Annecy.

On the Haute-Savoie side, the finalized La Belle Via (V62) route will eventually begin in Seyssel, on the banks of the Haut-Rhône, and will be connected to the ViaRhôna route. It will join La Balme-de-Sillingy, the recommended starting point to date for Annecy, its canals, and its charming old town. The cycle paths along the D992 and D1508 from Seyssel are not yet finalized. So, you'll need a little more patience to set off from the banks of the Rhône towards Lake Annecy. Between the Mandallaz mountain and the lake, La Balme de Sillingy offers cyclists a unique and charming green setting to begin a trip along La Belle Via.
