Description

The Belle Via continues towards the Marches and Lake Saint-André, through the vineyards of Cœur de Savoie.

Plan a short detour to visit the Vine and Wine Museum in Montmélian. From there, the Grésivaudan Valley opens up, where the peaks of the Belledonne and Chartreuse mountain ranges surround you. This section of the route evokes the history of strategic crossing points between the Duchy of Savoy and the Dauphiné region. Fort Barraux and the Château du Touvet bear witness to this. In La Terrasse, cyclists can rest at the leisure center and campsite. By bike, the rest of the route winds through landscapes offering breathtaking views of the mountains until you reach Grenoble.
