1- The Grenoble Walnut: The crunchy one that everyone loves!
Discover the Grenoble Walnut, a crunchy treasure with unparalleled flavor, recognized worldwide for its exceptional quality. Labeled AOC since 1938 and proudly AOP since 1996, this nut is the crème de la crème of dried fruits!
Grown with passion in the Drôme, Isère, and Savoie regions, the Grenoble walnut is distinguished by its generous size and orchards cultivated to ultra-strict standards. Three star varieties make up this AOP: the Franquette, resistant and late, the Parisienne, round and fleshy, and the Mayette, a fragile but flavorful little gem.
Gaëtan Mahé2- Bleu du Vercors-Sassenage: The creamy cheese that melts hearts!
Bleu du Vercors-Sassenage is a blue-veined cheese that combines smoothness and creaminess in every bite. This gem was awarded the AOP label in 1998, guaranteeing exceptional quality.
Lovingly crafted from selected cow's milk—Abondance, Montbéliarde, and Villarde—this cheese is a true treasure of our region. And that's not all! Bleu du Vercors-Sassenage is one of the few French PDOs to be produced in the heart of a Regional Natural Park, adding a touch of character to its recipe.

3- La Pangée®: The Drôme Delight with Apricots, Honey and Almonds!
Created in 2001 by the talented pastry chefs of the "Gourmandises en Drôme" association, Pangée® is much more than a cake. It's a celebration of local craftsmanship and the delights of the Drôme! Launched with great fanfare at the inauguration of the "Centre de la Pangée" site in La Baume Cornillane, a charming village nestled at the foot of the Vercors, this cake quickly became a star. And to top it all off, in 2004, it was crowned "Best Biscuit in France"!
But what makes Pangée® so special? It's its delicious composition: juicy apricots from the Valence plain, crunchy almonds from Drôme Provençale, and golden honey from the mountains. Each bite is a journey through our magnificent department!
And then there's its round shape, reminiscent of Pangea, the supercontinent of 250 million years ago. The missing part? It's the initial fault, of course! And the apricot in the center? That's our beloved Drôme, the beating heart of this Pangea, no less!
4- Ravioles de Saint Jean: Little squares that warm the heart!
Ravioles de Saint Jean represent over 85 years of tradition and deliciousness! These small, finely serrated squares of dough, filled with Comté AOP, fresh fromage blanc, and parsley, are a staple of French cuisine. Labeled Red since 1998 and IGP since 2009, their quality is impeccable.
These ravioli have a unique flavor that's a hit with top chefs and families alike. Easy to cook and quick, they're a must-have for any refrigerator... especially for students! And if you're in Saint-Jean-en-Royans, be sure to stop by their shop.
