Starting from the Museum of Prehistory, you will walk to the Vassieux ridges where you will have a wide panorama of the Diois and the high plateaus of the Vercors in particular.

From But Saint-Genix to the Col de Vassieux and from west to east, you can take in the vast lawns of Font d'Urle and Ambel where Mesolithic (9-500 BC) and Neolithic (5-500 BC) archaeological sites have been unearthed.
