Speleology - Speleology Pati

Explore the underground world through an introduction to speleology, combining discovery, adventure and scientific learning, in a safe environment suitable for all groups.

This activity offers an introduction to caving, specially designed for school groups, group activities for minors (ACM) or any other group wishing to discover the underground world.

Outings take place in small groups of 8 children or young people, accompanied by a supervisor (one additional supervisor per group). Several groups can be accommodated simultaneously, allowing the organization to be adapted to the group size.

Two formats are possible:
- half-day
- full day

The main objective is to explore the underground environment through a fun, progressive, and safe approach. The content of each session is fully customizable according to the participants' age, skill level, and the learning objectives defined with the instructors.

Speleology offers numerous educational opportunities, directly linked to school curricula and educational projects:

- Sports: learning progression techniques, managing effort and emotions, developing orientation skills in an unusual environment
- Scientific: understanding the formation of caves and concretions, discovering underground fauna and its adaptations
- Environmental: raising awareness of the water cycle and the challenges of preserving karst environments
- Human: development of mutual support, team spirit and self-confidence

During a field trip, it is possible to supplement field trips with whole-class sessions. These sessions allow for deeper learning and prepare for or extend the field experience.

These interventions can take different forms:
- scientific experiments
- model building
- educational games

They help to refine the participants' perspective and give more meaning to their exploration.

The format of the sessions is fully adaptable to your educational project. Support can also be offered to develop a comprehensive educational project around speleology, consistent with your objectives.

Note: Travel expenses for participants to the practice sites are not included in the service.

The activity does not take place at the address indicated, several sites are possible throughout the Vercors.
