The Beautiful Nut

On this certified organic farm, discover the entire journey of the walnut, from the fields to the workshop where all the gourmet products are prepared: spreads, coated kernels, biscuits, walnut wine... Visit, tasting and oil mill on site.

In the middle of the walnut trees and at the foot of the Vercors, Dorothée and Ludovic from La Belle Noix welcome you to their 35-hectare family nuciculture farm, certified Organic Agriculture.
On the two-hundred-year-old farm, Dorothée and Ludovic offer Grenoble Walnuts PDO, kernels and oil, but also a whole range of gourmet walnut products: spreads, walnut biscuits, savory spreads for aperitifs, coated kernels (in caramel, chocolate, or even spices to replace peanuts!), walnut wine... All these products are entirely processed on the farm by them, and certified Organic Agriculture.
By coming to visit the farm, you will be able to meet two passionate farmers, observe the materials and equipment necessary for harvesting and drying the nuts, but also discover the farm processing workshop where all the products offered for sale are prepared, and of course, taste them!
While you're there, you can also discover the Moulin La Belle Huile, which Séverine, Ludovic's sister, set up in the fall of 2018 to press walnut oil! The perfect opportunity to combine two fascinating visits in one single location!

The farm is located on the D1092 between Saint Hilaire du Rosier and Saint Marcellin. As you leave Saint Hilaire du Rosier (village), opposite the field of photovoltaic panels, follow the path between the walnut trees marked with a sign "Nuts, oils and derivative products / La Belle Noix / Moulin La Belle Huile", then continue to the end of the path.
