ArcansonDescription
To make this end of the year unforgettable, we are taking you on an adventure in the Drôme Vercors, in the heart of the Vercors Regional Natural Park.
In the heart of this Little Siberia, the nickname given to the canton of La Chapelle-en-Vercors, your guide
will reveal to you the secrets of these wild forests, these white-clad ridges, and these
magnificent pristine highlands.
Just a stone's throw from the legendary Grand Veymont, we'll put on our snowshoes to set off and explore
these preserved expanses, and to make our mark in the white immensities.
We will step into the shoes of Jack London and the trappers of the Far North, in search of
clues left by wildlife: deer, roe deer, foxes, hares… and perhaps even, with a little
luckily, those of the most discreet inhabitant of these forests: the wolf.
Unlike the heroes of yesteryear, we will experience this epic journey in considerable comfort, pampered.
by our family trio Sandra, Sophie and Céline. You will be charmed by their ideally located hotel at
heart of the village of La Chapelle-en-Vercors.
3 good reasons to escape with Arcanson:
• Discover the trapper's world with your guide who is passionate about his territory.
• A truly authentic stay with a pulka day (conditions permitting) and a fire
Made of wood!
• Pamper yourself in a welcoming hotel, at the gates of the largest Nature Reserve in France!

However, depending on snow conditions, it can be more physically demanding than walking. The snow can be hard or soft, deep or stable. Furthermore, wearing snowshoes adds extra weight that can be important in managing exertion. For this trip, please note that the focus is primarily on discovering the natural environment.
