Description

Varied program around the discovery of nature, resistance in the Vercors and prehistory.

Resistance Day:
Museum: founded by a former resistance fighter, the museum was completely renovated in 2010. The museum tour explores the renewed history of the Vercors resistance.
Necropolis: This cemetery honors the victims of the tragic events of July 44. It was on this site that the black cross gliders landed on July 21, 44.
Off-site workshop: Explore the village and find iconic sites in the history of the maquis. Understand how the village was destroyed and then rebuilt.

Prehistory Day:
A tour punctuated by objects, models, and reconstructions that bear witness to the daily lives of prehistoric men and women in the Vercors massif. The second part of the museum is dedicated to the archaeological site, a listed historic monument: the flint knapping workshop, where prehistoric knappers worked.

All trips can be done on foot to take the time to discover the rich nature around the center and the village.
