JCG-Consult is a sole proprietorship specializing in Earth Sciences, geological mapping, petro-structural field analysis, mineralogical expertise and environmental asbestos diagnosis.
For "Trésorogène," its communication activity around Earth Sciences, some of the samples processed during its various missions are dedicated to transformation into jewelry. All types of rocks/minerals are offered with an emphasis on local origin in Rhône Alpes - Auvergne but also Burgundy, Pyrenees, Brittany, etc.
This enhancement is achieved after shaping and polishing the most aesthetic, spectacular pieces, sometimes also didactic pieces. His field of intervention being mainly crystalline rocks and crystallophyllian rocks, that is to say the deformed rocks of the basements (current or ancient mountain ranges = orogens), he named this secondary activity from the contraction of "Treasures of the Orogens".
Trésorogène is usually present at various events focused on mineralogy, geology and paleontology throughout France: Amélie-les-Bains, Narbonne, Montpellier, Chamonix, Grenoble, Sainte Marie-aux-Mines, Guilherand-Granges as well as craft markets and certain medieval festivals in Drôme – Ardèche.

Through this activity, Trésorogène not only guarantees the geographical origin - the traceability of the exhibited pieces which is often lacking in this field - but is also able to certify their geological significance. In the long term, this also leads to the establishment of thematic exhibitions with an educational purpose which complement the media aspect already initiated through the production of articles for the French mineralogy journal "Le Règne Minéral" from Editions du Piat (Haute-Loire) in 1997.
