Prehistory Workshop: Paleo Hunter

Introduction to spear throwing with a spear-thrower, from age 7. (or bullroarer if it's raining)

Hunting is an essential part of prehistoric life. After an overview of the different types of hunting weapons brought to light, discover shooting with a spear thruster and aim correctly... to approach the recent Paleolithic.
Please note that in case of rain, the workshop will be replaced by the bullroarer workshop (Noisy aerophone or musical instrument? After a brief overview of musical instruments (flute, scrapers, bullroarers, whistling phalanges...) and a discussion of bullroarers, participants will create a decorated wooden bullroarer.)
