From the parking lot, follow the road towards La Chapelle en Vercors. Just behind the last building on the mountain side, take the track that rises gently to the left of the road.

At the post The Gauras (alt. 1260m), leave on the left the start of the path by which you will return. Continue straight ahead to reach a small flat area.

Turn left to climb into the forest until you reach the Gauras lawns which follow one another, interspersed with small groves.

Make sure you spot the descent at the end of the highest and last lawn. Start the descent to the Collar natural (alt. 1367m).

Turn left towards the forest to find a path that leads back to the track at point 2. Return to the starting point by the route taken on the way out. Be careful, at the pass, do not go directly down to the resort.
