From the parking lot, follow the road towards La Chapelle en Vercors. Just behind the last building on the mountain side, take the track that rises gently to the left of the road.

At the Les Gauras signpost (alt. 1260m) , leave the start of the path on the left, which will be used for the return journey. Continue straight ahead to reach a small plateau.

Turn left to climb into the forest until you reach the Gauras lawns which follow one another, interspersed with small groves.

Carefully locate the descent at the end of the highest and last grassy area. Begin the descent to the natural pass (alt. 1367m).

Turn left towards the forest to find a path that leads back to the track at point 2. Return to the starting point by the route taken on the way out. Be careful, at the pass, do not go directly down to the resort.
