From the Col de Carri post (alt. 1020m) , take the road towards Lente.

Take the first track on the right to reach the Caramentrant crossroads (alt. 1181m) (beginning of Lent; Lent entering).

Continue along the track through the forest. Further on, leave it and descend sharply to the Col du Maupas (alt. 1124m).

From the pass, the route continues downhill. Pass the Maupas intersection (alt. 1057m) to reach the lowest point of the route at the ruins of Giberot.

Go back up gently to the La May crossroads (alt. 1040m) then continue towards Col de Carri to return to the starting point, passing by the Auberge of the same name.
