From the pole Carri Pass (alt. 1020m), take the road towards Lente.

Take the first track on the right to reach the crossroads of Caramentrant (alt. 1181m) (period of beginning of Lent; incoming Lent).

Continue along the track through the forest. Further on, leave it and descend sharply to the Col du Maupas (alt. 1124m).

From the pass, the route continues downhill. Pass the intersection Maupas (alt. 1057m) to reach the lowest point of the route at the ruins of Giberot.

Gently go up to the crossroads La May (alt. 1040m) then continue in the direction Carri Pass to reach the starting point, passing by the Inn of the same name.
