From the pole Herbouilly Gate (alt. 1280m), opposite the cross-country ski center, turn left onto the snowy road. Reach the edge of the forest and find the start of the trail on the left.

Take the trail that winds between the trees. Follow the markings carefully to reach a small clearing.

Turn left and reach the Gardette viewpoint.

Continue on the track and watch out for the start of a small track on the right in a hollow. Follow it, go up a little before going back down to Wolf's Pot (alt. 1300m).

Take the wide, marked track to the right. Further on, return to point 3 and follow the route taken on the outward journey to reach the starting point.
