Description

Nestled in the heart of the Vercors in the classified site of Combe Laval, the Hostel Quartier Libre invites you to enjoy a stay of reconnection with nature and to benefit from a range of activities offered by the hostel, in all seasons. !

Welcome to the Hostel Quartier Libre, a truancy cooperative in Royans-Vercors!

Quartier Libre offers a variety of accommodations to suit your desires and those of the other adventurers whose path you will cross. We pay particular attention to the balance between privacy and conviviality. Around fifteen rooms, adapted to different needs: single double rooms, family rooms, dormitories of 4 to 8 beds (to be reserved by the bed or the dormitory) as well as a furnished studio for 4 people.

In order to adapt to everyone's stay, friendly, recreational and quiet spaces are available to travelers: living room with fireplace, terrace and outdoor play area.

The bar-restaurant offers a lunch and dinner menu, as well as something to hydrate and snack throughout the day. At our table, everything is homemade! To offer you taste and conviction on the plate, we only work with raw, local, seasonal and organic products. There is always a dish on the menu.

The grocery corner offers you local souvenirs, gourmet gifts or picnics, put together your picnic! Pâtés, spreads, gazpacho, sale of cheese and bread by the slice....

The Hostel Quartier Libre is part of the territory of Royans-Vercors, rich in its history, its landscapes and its know-how. Discover it through tourist, cultural and sporting activities and micro adventures offered on site or from the hostel, independently or with partners.

Throughout the year, a brunch is offered every first Sunday of the month (29 euros / person) with Yoga classes at 10 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. (15 euros / person).

In summer, you have access to the inn's swimming pool, heated by solar power. In winter, we offer laser biathlon snowshoes and rifles for rental as well as an orienteering race! In all seasons, hiking routes, board and outdoor games are available to you free of charge.

The Quartier Libre hostel also accepts travelers in tents who would like to camp. You can access the showers for 5 euros per person.

Opening

From 01/10/2025 to 30/04/2026 on Fridays and weekends. Closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Outside school holidays from Friday 16 p.m. to Sunday 18 p.m. Open from Wednesday evening by group reservation.

From 01/05 to 30/09/2026 every day.
Open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.
