Suzanne's

Chez Suzanne is a detached, single-story cottage located in a renovated barn. With a vintage feel, it's a simple, warm, welcoming, and functional cottage.

It is 55 m2 and is composed as follows:
- 1 living room with kitchen area and lounge area
- 1 bedroom with double bed 140x190 cm
- 1 mountain corner with bunk beds (preferably for children) measuring 90x190 cm
- 1 bathroom with walk-in shower
- 1 separate WC
- 1 small laundry room with washing machine

A parking space is dedicated to the cottage. The house is independent and located near the owners' house.
Bed linen and towels provided. Beds made upon arrival. Bicycle storage available. Outdoors currently being developed (large grounds).
The village offers two bakeries and a restaurant within 2 km. Two supermarkets are located within 1 km. Markets in neighboring towns are held several times a week.

A village that serves as a lovely gateway to Royans-Vercors (within the Vercors Regional Natural Park), Saint-Thomas-en-Royans offers beautiful hiking and mountain biking trails, from the riverbank to the hillsides, some of which start from the gîte. The view of three emblematic sites of the Vercors is magnificent: the Cirque de Combe Laval, the Gorges de la Bourne, and Les Goulets.
The cottage is located a stone's throw from the Bourne River, very pleasant in summer, which forms a natural border between Drôme and Isère.
Many remarkable sites or activities are located in the immediate vicinity of the gîte (less than 10 minutes):
- Pont en Royans and the hanging houses
- Saint Nazaire en Royans, its aqueduct, the paddle steamer, the Thaïs cave...
And a little further away about 30-40 minutes:
- The Abbey of Saint-Antoine, Romans and its shoe museum, Vassieux en Vercors and the Resistance Museum
- Access to the Vercors plateau with its summer activities and winter resorts (Font d'Urle, Col de Rousset, Herbouilly, Villard de Lans, Autrans-Méaudre, etc.).
- The Choranche cave
The local gastronomy is finally to be discovered with ravioli, walnut specialties, cheeses...
