Lyonne - L'Hermitage Saint Jean

We love this cottage for its view overlooking the river and its secluded terrace which still allows you to enjoy the conviviality of the estate.

Located on the garden level of a building that also houses an 8-person gîte upstairs and another for 2 people on the ground floor, the LYONNE gîte offers a peaceful setting overlooking the river. A true haven of relaxation where you can let yourself be lulled by the murmur of the water. Access to the gîte is via a footpath (15m) and two steps down.

It features two comfortable bedrooms: AURORE with a double bed (160cm) and DUNE with two single beds or one double bed (280cm or 160cm). The living area includes a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, a sofa, an armchair, and a TV. A bathroom (walk-in shower) and toilet complete the accommodation. All living areas are air-conditioned.

Secure access to the river (fence and gate). An unsecured canal (approx. 30 cm deep) and a pond (approx. 50 cm deep) cross the property; children should be supervised.
Access to a shared washing machine is included for stays of one week or more. Nestled between mountains and countryside, this cottage is located on the garden level of a building that served as a maternity hospital in the 30s and later as a hotel. The property enjoys a peaceful and verdant setting, with a river flowing at the foot of the garden.
On-site, everything is in place for an unforgettable stay: a large, wooded garden, a sunny terrace, a pétanque court, a fire pit for convivial evenings, and direct access to the river for swimming or relaxing with your feet in the water. The cottage shares the property with two other accommodations, fostering interaction and a warm atmosphere without disturbing anyone's privacy.

In the surrounding area, there's no shortage of activities: hiking in the Vercors mountains, exploring the Choranche and Thaïs caves, discovering mid-mountain villages, via ferrata, mountain biking, swimming, climbing… and of course, sampling the famous Royans ravioli and other local products. In summer, concerts, markets, and exhibitions bring the village to life, ensuring a lively and rejuvenating stay.
