MRVDescription
A sound, visual, immersive, sensitive and punctuated experience of unpublished archives, to discover the history of the resistance in the Vercors.
Located on the Col de la Chau, facing the crests of the Hauts Plateaux, the Memorial is a fortress like the natural citadel of the Massif du Vercors.
The immersive and sensitive tour immerses the visitor in the heart of history.
Visual atmospheres, sound fictions, documentary embellished with unpublished archives projected on a 3D model and testimonies of people who lived through the events lead to feel and understand the daily life of women and men who committed themselves and resisted.
The creation of a space entirely dedicated to commitment and a film that evokes the traces of resistance in the landscape and in people's consciences place the Memorial at the heart of contemporary issues of citizenship and living together.
The visit ends on the belvedere overlooking this territory steeped in history, a real exit to light and Freedom.
Self-guided tour with headset and audio guide.
Alternately actor and spectator, the visitor is placed in a situation, immersed in the daily life of the guerrillas.
Like the maquis, the Memorial has its codes to decipher and delivers a universal message of vigilance and solidarity for freedom.
