1
Du Carri Pass (alt. 1202m), leave to the left of the cross-country ski center following the yellow and red GRP markings and take the track which rises towards Serre Plumé. After a steady climb, the path reaches the fork of L'Estouble (alt. 1360m).
2
Continue on the track on a slight uphill slope, direction Serre Plumé. She soon makes a hairpin turn.
3
About 100m further on, watch for the start of a very small path on the left that climbs quite steeply, still marked in yellow and red. Continue to the wooded shoulder of the mountain. Serre PluméContinue climbing, carefully following the trail markers (the path is faint on the ground). If in doubt, don't hesitate to reach the top of the ridge; the path is never far away. At times, the route invites you to descend slightly by turning left into a hollow, but this is only to better ascend again, always following the ridgeline.
4
Finally reach the summit of Serre Plumé (alt. 1573m)This summit offers a magnificent panorama to the east over the Grand Veymont (highest point of the Vercors, 2341m) and over all the high plateaus. Start the descent, always keeping the same direction until the Pass of the Mure (alt. 1435m).
5
Leave the GRP (Grande Randonnée de Pays) trail and turn right onto the track marked in yellow and green. It runs alongside the Darbounouse meadows on the right before reaching, after a short climb, the Pelouse du Lièvre Blanc (White Hare Meadow) (1455m) . Continue straight ahead on this track, heading due north, until you reach a fork. Choose the path that descends towards the Fauchier plain. Pass the Crobache hut and continue along the track to the Pré Bellet crossroads (1400m).
6
Prefer the descent to the left to reach the crossroads of L'Estouble then return to the Col de Carri by the path taken on the way there.
