This is an activity that can be undertaken independently by experienced climbers or with the guidance of professionals. The via corda is open daily from April 1st to September 30th and only on Wednesdays from October 1st to March 31st.

Arrival altitude: 1400 m
Approach walk: 30 minutes
Route: 2 to 3 hours depending on the level
Return to the parking lot: 30 min or 1 hour via Pas de Saint Martin

40 meter tether rope
4 quickdraws
Helmet, harness, lanyards
Lead rope belay system
Second rope belay system
Mountain shoes
Food and water

Progression is generally made with a taut rope. It may be necessary to make relays, particularly in the vertical sections.
As you climb, you'll be sharing the rocky terrain with the peregrine falcon, a protected species that nests in these cliffs. Respect it, especially from late February, when the falcons are nesting, to early July, when the young take flight.
