Description

It is a cavern that surprises with its diverse gallery, ranging from narrow to imposing. It contains beautiful underground landscapes. It is used by caving guides who offer a fun underground "baptism."

The cave, also known as the Sarna Cave, has been known for centuries for its first 80 meters. It served as a shelter for cave bears and as a refuge for resistance fighters during the Second World War. Then, between 1967 and 1968, the Groupe Spéléo Valentinois (GSV) widened the final narrow passage, the true key to the entrance, leading to the discovery of an additional 400 meters of beautifully calcified galleries. We recommend that you go with a professional caving guide.
