Description

Family walk through the fields and forests around the motte-fanjas.

This walk takes you to the heart of walnut country, through the iconic landscapes of the walnut groves that shape the region. Walnut cultivation profoundly influences the local identity, as does the traditional architecture of the Dauphiné, recognizable by its open-sided granaries once used for drying crops. Scattered among the farmland, the typical houses bear witness to this rich rural heritage. Renowned for its quality, the Grenoble Walnut can be enjoyed in many forms, whether eaten fresh or transformed into gourmet specialties such as cakes, wines, or confectionery.
