An exhibition that blends memory, creation, and transmission
Through a sensitive and committed work, the Vercors Resistance Memorial offers an exhibition that brings contemporary artistic creation, the history of the Resistance and intimate questions about mourning and resilience into dialogue.
Eclats draws on a unique history of the Resistance in the Vercors to discreetly examine what it means to resist, both then and now.
An intimate and committed artistic approach
"The starting point for this project is a wound, that of the loss of a loved one, which heals little by little through mourning. Wishing to speak about it with modesty, I had long had in mind this scene of a cloudy sky gradually revealing the blue of the sky and fragments of mountains.
The discovery of Guy Loyrion's text, and through it, the story of Léon and Henri Borel, convinced me to embark on this project, combining it with the musical world of Benoît Tabita and the video accompaniment of Camille Bourrier / Kreatura.
